Just a few years back Duane went on the search for a scabbard to fit their oldest son's small trapper style pocket knife. Not being able to find what he was looking for, or someone to make it, Duane decided to make one himself. Over the next couple years Duane spent time making practice pieces for friends and family. "We love to spend our free time together, so when I saw that he was pretty into this leather stuff, I decided, why not join him! and that's how all this began."

Duane and Siera each have their own artistic styles when it comes to leatherwork, but "We believe our differences compliment each others styles and abilities nicely."

Having been married nearly 10 years, and 5 beautiful kids later, they hope to continue this age old tradition and pass the craft down to their kids. "The kids are always asking to "do leather with us", I love that it is something we can do together as a family. Leather is beautiful, yet rugged and useful. I love that it's something that will last a lifetime, given proper care. I don't like the idea of buying and selling goods that won't last."
